To be honest, I don’t do much shopping at the grocery store, and I’m not a huge fan of Whole Foods. But this is still really exciting for downtown.

I’m glad this project got off the ground. Having any sort of grocery store in this area (even “Whole Paycheck”) fills a pretty substantial hole, and it’s great to see that building get a new life.

I know! I remember people saying there was going to be a Whole Foods there when I first moved here, and I was completely convinced it would never happen. There’s a great photo set on flickr chronicling the project during construction.
