Shorenstein’s new building at 12th and Jefferson downtown, 601 City Center, has a flickr page, with cool renderings, if anyone’s interested.

Looks like a great addition to downtown Oakland. If only the developers of that “City Walk” development get on the ball and finish those condos. Right now that site is causing blight on what should be a beautiful, clean and modern downtown. However, the Shorenstein building looks awesome and should be a landmark downtown for years to come.

Navigator, I agree, although citywalk now seems to be getting back on schedule, as V’s later blog indicates. BTW, are you the same ‘Navigator’ from the Chronicle comment page? Just curious. V, I never saw this blog entry, until I just now did a search for 601 city center. Thank you! That building sure as hell better get done!
